Obituary of Stephen Mascarenas

Mascarenas, Stephen, 73 born November 14, 1939, of Dixon, NM. passed away peacefully at his home located in Albuquerque, NM on Friday, March 8, 2013. To his family, he left behind a legacy built on integrity, loyalty, and respect and most importantly love. We think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again. Mr. Mascarenas was preceded in death by his father, Ospicio Mascarenas and mother, Isabel Atencio Mascarenas. Mr. Mascarenas is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rose; two sons, Michael Mascarenas and wife, Barbara, George Mascarenas and wife, Patricia (Trish); daughter, Monica Sanchez and husband, Joseph Sanchez; grandchildren, Michael (Mikey) Mascarenas Jr., Andrea Aragon and Deanndra Xaynhachack and husband, Kevin; 3 great-grandchildren, Akira, Kato and Kai Xaynhachack. Viewing will be from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to follow from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, with a funeral service to follow. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
