Obituary of Elgie B. McCloud

Mr. Elgie B. McCloud, 99, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, in Albuquerque. Mr. McCloud's memory will be cherished by his loving family that includes: his wife, Louisa Martinez McCloud of Las Cruces, New Mexico, his daughter, Esther McCloud Escobedo (Jose) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, his stepson, Steve Vargas of Las Cruces, New Mexico, step-daughter, Becky Prieto (Ernesto), and his sisters, Essie McCloud Houston of Lorena, Texas and Geneva McCloud Eastland of Waco, Texas. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. All services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, beginning with a visitation on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 5pm, followed by recitation of the Rosary at 6pm. A final visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11am with Funeral Service to be celebrated at 12pm. Interment will follow at 2:15pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
