Obituary of Jerry W Medina

Jerry W. Medina, 46, passed away in California on Sunday, June 17, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Chris and Carroll Medina; brother, Robert Medina and wife, Pema; sister, Christine Medina; grandmother, Clara Medina; long time companion, Jill Heiser-Bowler; estranged wife, Wanda Medina; step-children, Skylene and Jeremy Gritton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends. Jerry served his country in the US Navy for twenty years and will be missed by many of his Navy friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alfonso Medina and maternal grandparents, Fritz and Myrtle Meissner. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Final visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Father Leo Paget, presider. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Baca, Keith Page, Darin Burton, Darlene Lopez, Severo Moreno, and A. J. Moreno.
