Obituary of Emelina Montoya

Emelina Montoya, age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012. She had lived in Albuquerque since 1957. Emelina was a housewife, loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and Aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo "Tuji" Montoya. Emilina is survived by her sons, Junie Montoya and his wife Lisa, Mike Montoya and his wife Loretta, son Donald Montoya, Sr. and his wife Christina and Ruben Montoya; daughters, Connie Valenzuela, Lorretta Baca and her husband Rick, and Mary Rodriguez; sister Mary Ulibarri; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A public visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. The final visitation will be held at 8:15 AM on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. The funeral mass will begin at 9:00 AM also at the church. Pallbearers will be: Patrick Baca, Donald Montoya Jr., Arturo Montoya, Johnny Ray Montoya, Ricky Archuleta, Filbert Candelaria. Honorary pallbearer will be: Gabe Gonzales. Arrangements are entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque.
