Obituary of John Henry Nogales

John Henry Nogales, 69, of Albuquerque, joined the Lord on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife Julie Nogales of 33 years, his children Daniel Nogales and wife Trisha, Luke Nogales and wife Veronica, and their newborn son William Jack Nogales, John's brother Louis and his wife Gloria Nogales, his sister Mary Helen and her husband Ted Flores, and his sister Rose Ann Valenzuela and his many nieces and nephews, as well as his favorite aunt Carmen. He also leaves many other family members and loving friends who grieve his passing but believe he is in a better place where he can be with his Pop and have a beer with his brother Joe and nephew Louie, all while John's Mom scolds them for having the beer. John was loved deeply and he gave lots of love to everyone in his life! He was a very devoted Catholic from St. Mary's and St. Charles grade schools. He went to Albuquerque High School and then graduated from Las Cruces High School. John was a student of life. He was always curious and eager to learn. Most of all, John enjoyed experiencing life with his family, whether it was living in Spain, going to all of his sons' many events, or just watching movies at home. The Viewing and Rosary will be on Sunday March 9, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday March 10, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church at 1818 Coal Pl SE, on the corner of Coal and University with Father Juan Mendez presiding.
