Obituary of Julia Kay Otero

Julia Kay Otero passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the age of 61. She is now at rest with our Lord and Savior. Julia grew up in Kansas where she enjoyed fishing, swimming, music and dancing along with her love for animals. Later in life she moved to New Mexico where she enjoyed cooking and baking for her extended family at the Isleta Eagle Golf Course for the past sixteen years. Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Vida Hiatt and her brother, Lawrence Jr. She is survived by her sister, Karen Ferguson and her husband Gary; nieces, Sherri, Christina, Kimberly, Tammi and Jessica and nephew, Michael. A celebration of Julia's life will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Isleta Eagle Golf Course at 1:00 PM.
