Obituary of Annabelle Perea

Annabelle Perea, age 50, a resident of Los Lunas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2012, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born into a family of 19 siblings, 20 including herself. Annabelle was a lifelong resident of Valencia County. She was a very kind, loving and caring person who was always willing to take anyone in. Annabelle was never negative and she always had a smile on her face and a joke to tell. She will be missed dearly. Our Auntie Annabelle had a heart of gold. She always made it a point to let her nieces and nephews know was always there. Remembering back she would always pick a carload of us kids up for a barbeque at her home and taking us for rides around the dairy. Annabelle is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Trinnie Padilla; granddaughter, Jasmine Perea; five brothers; one sister and one nephew, Juanito Diaz. She is survived by her son, Edward Perea daughter, Rosanna Perea and Dominic; grandchildren, Alexis, Phillip and Samantha; three brothers; eight sisters; many loving nieces and nephews; her ex-husband, Trini Perea and special friend, Greg Perea. A viewing for Annabelle will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St. NE, followed by recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM. Final viewing will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, located at 101 A North 10th ST. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM.
