Obituary of Delaila H Pina

Dilaila H. Pina, age 33, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was born in Andrews, Texas August 26, 1980 to Juan and Maria Pina of Hobbs, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 14 years. Dilaila was a very loving and caring mother of the home and loved to listen and dance to her Tejano music. She graduated in 1999 from Hobbs High School, home of the Eagles. Dilaila was preceded in death by her father, Juan G. Pina; brother, Daniel Pina and an infant brother and sister, Arturo Pina and Amelia Pina. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Alexis and Danielle Pina; her boyfriend of 14 years, Antonio Barraza Jr of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Maria H. Pina; brothers, Inez Pina, Juan Pina Jr and Jose Jesus Pina all of Hobbs, NM; sisters, Juanita Pina of Hobbs, NM, Guadalupe Granados, Linda Gonzales, Elia Pina all of Albuquerque, NM, Delia Pina of Monument, NM and Mary Jane Pina-Hawk of Augusta, GA as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 5:00 PM follow by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, located at 5415 Fortuna Road SW. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A reception to celebrate Dilaila's life will be held immediately following the interment at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Hall.
