Obituary of Flora Romero Sanzone

Flora Romero Sanzone, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 28, 1930 and was a lifelong resident. She was first and foremost a loving wife, mother and great grandmother. Her passing marks the end of a rich family history spanning back to 1523. She was preceded in death by her father, Federico Romero and mother, Anastacia Sandoval. Flora is survived by her husband, Charles Sanzone; daughters, Carmela Romero and Theresa Sanzone and her husband William Wood; granddaughters, Anastacia Barka and her husband Thomas, Lucia Montoya and her husband Marvin and Marianna Romero; grandsons, Matthew Romero, Peter Crespin and fiancee Katrina Guarascio, Thomas Crespin and wife Brandy and Charles Sanzone-Wood; great-granddaughters, Jasmine Romero, Jade Romero, Carmela Barka, Alexandra Barka, Sophia Montoya, Natazanya Crespin, Esperanza Crespin and Malakah Crespin, Greatgrandson, Maurizio Barka and Yashiya Crespin, all of Albuquerque. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM, all at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE.
