Obituary of Eva Jean Ruof

Eva Jean Marquez Ruof, 59, passed away on Friday, September 13th, 2013. She was born in Clovis, NM on May 6th, 1954 and was a permanent resident of Belen, NM since 1990. She was an administrative assistant at the University of New Mexico and an avid Lobo fan. Eva was preceded in death by her father Juan Marquez, mother Louisa Lopez Marquez, brother Rudy Marquez, sister Geneva Brady and sister Florinda Cordova. She is survived by her daughter Erica, son Brian, husband Jim, sisters Carmen Marquez, Corine Trujeque, Esther Trujillo, Lori Kurtz, brother Chris Marquez and their families. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel in Los Lunas. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30PM and the Memorial Service will be at 1:00PM. Arrangements were handled by Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas 820 Main St NE 505-565-1700. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer in the name of Eva Ruof.
