Obituary of Nick C Sanchez

Sanchez, Nick C. "Sonny", age 69, born January 30, 1944 to Nick and Celestina Sanchez. Nick passed away October 13, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM, anniversary day of the final apparition of Our Blessed Virgin Mary of Fatima (Oct. 13, 1917). He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Sanchez; brothers, Phil and Frank Sanchez. Nick is survived by his sisters, Mary Garcia, Christine; brothers, Leroy, Patrick and David Sanchez. "Sonny" was a strong and passionate believer in Our Blessed Virgin Mother. He was a dedicated and loyal worker at Lindy's restaurant, located in downtown Albuquerque for over 20 years. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 4:00 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM all at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isaac Montano, Anthony Sanchez, Andrew Chavez, Joseph Garcia Jr, Joshua Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vicente, Richard, Victor, Joseph and Albert Garcia, Robert Sanchez, Leroy Sanchez Jr, and Martin Lovato.
