Obituary of Onesima \ Sanchez

Onesima "Toni" Sanchez, age 76, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away at home on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was born February 5, 1937, in Belen, NM, to the late Benecio and Rosalie Cordova and was raised in Albuquerque, NM. Toni married Gorman Sanchez on May 4th, 1957 and raised five children. She was a great homemaker and mother. Toni is survived by her son, Robert Sanchez and his wife Debbie; her three grandchildren, Robert and Timothy Sanchez and Trinidad Vargas; dear friend, Serafin Lucero; two sisters, Nattie and Mary and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gorman and her children, Roberta, Anna Marie, Anthony and Albert. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd.NE., with recitation of the rosary to follow at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at St. Edwin Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
