Obituary of Beryl E Schwanitz

Beryl E. Schwanitz, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Albuquerque with several family members at her side. She was born in Oxford, England August 21, 1935. Beryl is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward Schwanitz; sisters, Heather Goodwin and Karen Gilbert of Oxford, England; sons, Paul Schwanitz, David Schwanitz and wife Liz Schwanitz, Alan Schwanitz and wife Karen Champine, Cary Schwanitz and wife Gail Schwanitz and son Ian Schwanitz. In addition, Beryl had the good fortune of loving 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. There are countless other children who grew up at the feet of Teacher Beryl during her 20 years at Kindercare in Taylor Ranch. She was never much of a fan of flowers, especially during difficult times like this. In lieu, please send a donation to the VHL Family Alliance at vhl.org. Services will be held January 3, 2012 at St. Jude Thaddeus Church located at 5712 Paradise Boulevard NW in Albuquerque, beginning with recitation of the Rosary at 11:30 AM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Immediately after the Schwanitz family invites Beryl's many friends to celebrate her life and loving legacy at the St. Jude reception hall.
