Obituary of Jean M. Vigil

Jean (Jenny) M. Vigil, age 94, born in Taos (Arroyo Seco), NM on December 27, 1912, passed peacefully on March 27, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nieves and Emernciana (Lara) Martinez; all five of her siblings; her husband; and a son. She is survived by two sons; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She retired from the State Capital and was also a caregiver. She was very loving and devoted to her family. We will miss her and we love her with all our hearts. Her legacy is with us forever. A Rosary will take place at Riverside Chapel in Albuquerque at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2007. Mass will be held at St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe on April 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe.
