Obituary of Mary Frances Woosley

Woosley, Mary Frances Age 73, passed away on March 18, 2012, with her beloved husband of 55 years, Jasper and daughter, Penny by her side. She is survived by her mother, Viola Templeton, son, Michael and wife Sheila; daughter, Penny Payne and husband Chad ; daughter-in-law, Lynn Barr and husband Pat; and grandchildren, Matt, Ashley, Sara, Kyle, Samantha, Jamie and Caitlin. She was preceded in death by her son, Harrison "Speedy" and father, Bill Templeton. Fran or "Grandma" to many was devoted to her grandchildren and many families adopted her as their surrogate grandmother. She grew up on horses and in 1956 was crowned Rodeo Queen in Glendale , Arizona . She moved with her family to New Mexico in 1971 where she worked as accountant and real-estate agent for her husband. A celebration of Fran's life and visitation will be held at the Woosley home on Saturday, March 24 with an open house between 2 and 5. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorial contributions can be made to Presbyterian Hospice on Constitution. Mary Frances will be laid to rest in Glendale , Arizona .
