Obituary of Lee Joseph Michael

Lee Joseph Michael, age 87, left for heaven on December 3, 2016, after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Michael; sister, Rose Kopp; and brothers, Fred Michael Sr, and Richard Michael. Lee is survived by his niece, Sherrie Johnson; great-nephews, Chris Roberts, and Deacon Johnston; great-niece, Avery Johnston; nephew, Richard Michael and his wife Brenda; and cousins, Walter and Carol Higgins. He is also survived by the Sahd, Richards, Francis, and Kolry families. A restauranteur by trade, Lee J dedicated his life to his family. A true Albuquerque native and avid Lobos fan. Lee J was always quick with a joke and a smile, and will be dearly missed. Services will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo NE from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
