Obituary of Reuben Baca

On Thursday January 16, 2020 Reuben "Tata" Baca passed away at age 63. Reuben was born in McNary AZ on March 8, 1956 to Eutimio and Mary Baca who proceed him in death. He was a father of three daughters Felicia Castaneda, Veronica Baca and Crystal Nash alongside husband Joseph Nash. He had ten grandchildren Jazzeree Baca alongside partner Aaron Stevens, Isiah Castaneda, Loren Baca, Gabriel Griego-Nash, Arianna Castaneda, Christian Castaneda, Hayden Nash, Krista Nash, Kale Nash and Joseph (LJ) Nash. He had two great-grandchildren Coal Stevens and Axel Stevens. He had five siblings Patricia, Bernadette, Nancy, Ramona, and Sammy. He had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Reuben was a self-taught guitarist. He loved anything to do with music. He loved to play it, sing it and dance to it. He was a jokester. He just wanted everyone to have a good time, enjoy life and laugh. He was the true essence of love. He was an amazing cook. He was famous for his red chili. Reuben was an avid dog lover. Those who knew him also knew his beloved English Bulldog Bandit whom also passed away on January 16. Reuben was very loved by everyone and will be missed tremendously. Please join us on Thursday January 30th at 10 am at Queen of Heaven Church; 5303 Phoenix Ave NE. We will recite the Rosary followed by a Mass. Immediately after will be a potluck reception at the Queen of Heaven Parish hall.
