Obituary of Jason Romero

JASON “DOUGHBOY” ROMERO, 39, passed on July 8th, 2021. He was preceded in death by father, Jerry “Papa Planet” Romero; Brothers, Jerry & Jesse Romero; paternal grandparents, Jose & Delfinia Romero; maternal grandmother Louise Armijo; Beloved cousin, Daniel Romero. Jason is survived by mother, Mary Jane Romero; Daughter, Evangelina Romero (Benjamin); Granddaughter, Amani Rose; Brothers, Joseph (Gretchen), and Micheal. Sisters, Rachel, and Michelle (Billy); Nieces, Marina, Sabrina, Angelica, Gabriella, Justice, Jeri Faith, Mariah, Vanessa, Brittany; Nephews, Micheal, Seferano, Richard, Jose.

Jason was a loving man, with a big heart. His gorgeous smile could brighten up a room, and a laugh that would make your day. He was a man with many interests and talents. His penmanship was just breathtaking, so precise and perfect. The art he created was unbelievable. Even through all of the hardships Jason faced, he had a beautiful soul. Nothing could compare to the love Jason had for his mother and father, his brothers Jerry and Jesse, and his hita, Evangelina. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16th, 2021, at 3 p.m., at Riverside Funeral Home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
