Obituary of Monica Michelle Moreno

Monica Michelle “Pebbles“ Moreno, Age 58, Was born in Denver, Colorado on August 9th, 1963. Pebbles was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 3rd, 2021. She closed her eyes, surrounded by her loved ones, and peacefully accepted his loving hand into Heaven. Pebbles was a Denver native, attended Gilpin elementary, Cole Middle school, and Manual High school. As a youth and into her teenage years Pebbles danced with the Mestizo Dancers, Mexican dancing. She was a beautiful flower that bloomed! Her love for dancing started early and the desire never left her feet! Pebbles loved to dance; she would dance whenever the opportunity allowed. She loved to swing and sway her grandkids around that living room floor, and we believe she danced her heart right through the Golden Gates! Pebbles continued her life’s Journey in Pecos/Albuquerque NM, where her family then begin to grow! Two handsome sons, two beautiful daughters in laws, and 7 grandchildren that made her eyes sparkle, and her life complete! Pebbles was full of life, laughter, and love! Her smile would always light up every room, and her heart was always as big as life! She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed dearly, and the beautiful memories she left with us all will always be treasured! She was preceded in death by our beloved ones: Mother – Ida Moreno, Father – Ignacio “Nash” Moreno, Brother –Joseph Moreno, Sister –Rosella “Jane” Moreno, Brother –Cornelio “Corny” Moreno, Sister –Bernadette Moreno, Brother –David Moreno, Sister in Law –Margaret “Margie” Moreno, Nephew -Artie Ibarra Pebbles is survived by her beloved children: Fred and Nicole Mestas, Orlando and Dominque Roybal Grand children: Adam Griego-Mestas, Sebastian Mestas, Nevaeh Mestas, Jackson Mestas, Mason Mestas, Orlando Roybal and Zoe Roybal Siblings: Alonzo Moreno, Michael Moreno, Nanette Moreno, Gabriel Moreno, Basil Moreno Nieces and Nephews: Joely, Denise, Joy, Craig, Pam, Donald, Alonzo, Cornelio, Michael, Regina, David, Star, Jeanette, Ida, Tyra, Audra, Nicole, Latoya, Stephen, Crystal, Dustin And numerous great nieces and nephews! Honorary Pallbearer: Fred Mestas and Orlando Roybal Pallbearers: Adam Griego-Mestas, Sebastian Mestas, HeavenLee Escobar,Roger Pearson,Adrian Moreno, Jaylen Moreno, Michael Moreno, Gabriel Gonzales, Joey Varela The Rosary and Mass of our beloved Mother, Sister and Aunt will be held on Wednesday October 13th, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 11 St. Anthony’s Loop, Pecos NM 87552. Services will begin promptly at 9:00 am, followed by Mass at 10:00 am, and Burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Pecos NM, 87552. Reception and family gathering will be held at the San Miguel Sheriff’s Posse, 104 So. Main Street, Pecos, NM 87552. The family is asking that we all celebrate this beautiful day, Mass and Reception, in our favorite red shirts and or apparel in honor of Pebbles and her favorite color, RED!
