Obituary of Frances I Aguilar

On Friday, November 5, 2021, Frances I. Aguilar, loving mother, sister and daughter, went home to be with her Lord after a battle with a sudden illness.

Frances was born on May 11, 1962 in Springer, NM to Alvin and Mary Sedillo. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque New Mexico where she graduated from Del Norte High School in 1980. After high school she was employeed at Walmart as a Customer Service Manager and then went on to obtain her Associates Degree from TVI and was soon employeed at Sandia National Laboratories.

Frances was a loving, dedicated and hard working mother. She devoted most of her time and attention to her son Jeremy as well as a wonderful daughter to her parents who she cared for until her last few days. She also was a very special sister who gave much of her time to her nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephew and created many very special memories with them. She was an exceptional godmother to her niece Elicia who will miss her greatly.

She was well loved by friends and family and enjoyed talking on the phone with everyone. She loved watching her favorite shows and movies with a glass of ice tea.

Frances was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Sedillo who together are watching over those of us left behind. She is survived by her son, Jeremy Aguilar, mother Mary Sedillo, sister Patsy Armijo and husband Rick, brothers Carlos Sedillo and wife Veronica, and Robert Mondragon. Nieces and nephews, Michelle Gutierrez, Elicia Sena, Alex Casias, Nathaniel Sedillo, great niece Ilyssa Gutierrez and great nephew Isaiah Gutierrez of whom she loved dearly.

 Mass will be on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 2:00PM, at Queen of Heaven Church. Burial will be in Wagon Mound, NM, on Monday, December 6, 2021.
