Obituary of Carlos Espinoza Jr

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Carlos Espinoza Jr., son of the late Carlos Espinoza Sr., and a longtime resident of Albuquerque, on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Iva, daughters Celeste Barraza, Victoria and Ysabel Espinoza, mother, Caroline Espinoza, brothers, Kenny and Victor Espinoza and sister Bonnie Pacheco, along with father and mother in-law, Hubert and Lila McCord; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Carlos, known to many as Chuck, was born and raised in Brighton, Colorado where he graduated from Brighton High School in 1979 and moved to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico and graduate with his Bachelor of Arts in management in 1983.  Carlos loved to play racquetball and was deeply committed to the racquetball community which he considered family.  He was a faithful man of God, dedicated to his family, especially his daughters, friends, church, and his Lord and Savior. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 20,2022 at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque 4001 Osuna Road NE and burial will be held in La Manga, New Mexico.
