Obituary of Kenneth Maldonado

Kenneth David Maldonado, age 42, passed away in his home in Albuquerque on February 15, 2022.

He was a 1997 graduate of West Mesa High School and furthered his education at Central New Mexico Community College. He went on to earn his Apprenticeship in Plumbing & Pipe Fitting and was a member of Local Union 412. Kenny was a dedicated fighter and excelled at Karate, Boxing, and Muay Tai at Chavez Martial Arts Academy where he was known as “Loverboy”. He loved fishing, watching sports, and most of all, spending time with his loved ones.

Kenny is survived by his parents Ken and Gina Maldonado, sister Bernadette (husband Estaban) Rodriguez, God-parents Rick and Julie Maldonado, his children Xavier (wife Isabella, and their children Andrea, Elio) Maldonado, Isaiah Marquez and Kendra Maldonado, grandparents Lupe Romero and Julio Maldonado and girlfriend Lori Vigil. He is also survived by many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and co workers. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Roger Romero and his grandmother Rose Maldonado.
Kenny will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
