Obituary of John J. Mascarenas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad John J. Mascarenas (Papo) on February 7, 2022 surrounded by his family. Papo was born on October 31, 1946. 

John is proceeded in death by his wife Martha, his parents Isaias and Cleotilde, sons John JR., Bryan Barber, and siblings Tony Mascarenas, and Maryann Molinas. 

Papo survived by his daughters Patricia (Tomas), Georgette (Mr. Crow), granddaughters, Amelia (Mark), Elizabeth (Logan/Hogan), Venessa, Abigail (Harmony/Pasole), and Breanna. Siblings Gina Perea (Ed), JR Mascarenas (Rosalie), Everlyn Salazar (Bobby), Margie Hix (Don), and Vivian Irwin (Matt). 

Our Papo was a diehard Steelers fan, fisher man, and story teller. Papo loved John Wayne, camping, fishing, his friends, and most of all he LOVED his family, and will be dearly missed. 

Services to be held Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church
