Steve D. Pratt

Steve D. Pratt passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of March 27, 2022. 
Steve was a proud member of the Woodcarvers' and created many wonderful works of art with his carving, painting, and artistic talent. His works of art show off his creativity and will be enjoyed for many years to come. 
He proudly served his country in the Navy and Coast Guard. 
Steve was the father of five children.  He has four surviving children, Lana Theobald, Robert Pratt, Rebecca "Becky" Pratt-Kumley, Jason Pratt; and one child who predeceased him, Joe Pratt.  He is also survived by numerous grandchIldren. 
He worked for the University of new Mexico for many years and retired from UNM in his early 50's to his property in Bernalillo where he was able to continue his private life. 
He enjoyed playing with his dogs and feeding the cranes who decided to rest in his orchard. 
He was also a very talented guitarist who enjoyed playing stringed insturments and has amassed a number of guitars in his lifetime,
