Obituary of Cathie Elias St. Germain
It is with sadness and celebration, that we announce the passing of Cathie Jean Elias St. Germain. Cathie departed this world Wednesday, March 23, 2022 after a short illness.
Cathie was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on July 17th, 1952. She was the youngest daughter of Helen Hawthorne, and William Elias.
She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac. Cathie attended college at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she received her graduate and Masters degrees in English Literature and went on to become an English teacher and Professor. However, she spent most of her adult life working as a consultant for several government agencies.
Cathie is survived by her older sister Carolyn Elias in Madison, Wisconsin, and her nephew Nathan Elias, his wife Krista, their three children Lauren, NJ, Emerson, also brothers and sisters‐in‐law and countless nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her husband David St. Germain who resides in their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Cathie loved reading, the library, and her senior cat Buddy. She loved her family and music,especially Jethro Tull and the Eagles. She will be very dearly missed.
