Obituary of Karen Watkins

Karen Watkins passed peacefully at home on Saturday May 14, 2022, at the age of 62. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 27, 1959. The oldest of four children, Karen was an avid gardener, reader, and lover of music. A dedicated wife and mother, Karen managed family businesses as well as volunteered much of her time at her daughter’s school, San Felipe de Neri. Karen is survived by her husband, Melvin Watkins. She is also survived by her first husband, Leroy Moya, and her three daughters: Carly Elizabeth Moya, Jesi Lee Sedillo, Candice Faith Moya, and eight grandchildren. She passes on to join her son, Felix Gilbert Moya, her mother Sharon Rascon, and her beloved aunt, Sharlene Tapia. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home on June 3, 2022 at 10AM
