Obituary of Paul E. Gammill

Paul Esmond Gammill born December 29, 1931 in Wildhorse, Oklahoma 

departed this world June 7, 2022. He served in the United States Air Force, 

married in 1953, and retired from Sandia Labs. He is the beloved faither of 

Lois, Cyndy and Tom, grandfather of Caitlin Snellgrove, Terra Appelman,

and Sam and Adam Gammill, and great grandfather of Olin Snellgrove.

He is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Erna Gammill, siblings 

Howard, Harold, Miles, and Norma, and wife Esther. To his children he 

imparted a lifelong love of learning, including his talent and appreciation 

of music. He was a thoughtful and loving father, a generous member of 

his community, and steadfastly modeled values of honesty, courage, 

personal integrity, stewardship, positive thinking, and simple kindness.
