Obituary of Andrea L Huebner

Andrea L Huebner 80 years young

Entered this world on 1/24/42 and was called by our heavenly father on May 27, 2022.  She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and aunt.  She was bright, beautiful, bold and feisty even through her final days here on earth. Andrea is survived by her daughter Karen J Huebner and partner Rhea Kiddy, brothers Cruz Ornelas and Isidro Ornelas wife Marian, brother in law Raymond Gonzales, sister in law Veronica Ornelas and lots of nieces and nephews and dear friends Sonny and Hope Rivera, all who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Octaviano and Lupe Ornelas, sister Katie Gonzales and brother Ricardo (Dickey) Ornelas  Andrea had a love for;  life, travel, family, her dogs, Mexican food and sports. Andrea grew up on a farm in Luis Lopez New Mexico with her family.  She moved to Albuquerque and in 1970 she got her license as a barber and hairstylist, and she owned her own salon, and also worked with Sebring International. Andrea later received her BA and then became a sales rep for Townsend Textron where she was very successful.  Her career had her traveling much of her life which she loved.  She eventually came back to NM around 2003 and became a substitute high school teacher until she retired. Rest in peace dear one, you, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. 

Graveside service for Andrea will be on Saturday, July 9th at 11:00am, Pajarito Cemetery, on the corner of Pajarito Rd and Coors RD SW.  Celebration of life will follow at 6080 Isleta BLVD SW Albuquerque NM.
