Obituary of Alberto Alcaraz

Alberto Alcaraz, age 74, born July 27, 1948 passed from this life to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022.

Alberto was born in El Moral, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico to Maria De La Luz Juarez & Alberto Alcaraz Capuchina.

He had a wandering soul and left his native country at a very young age in search of a different life in the United States. He spent his life roaming different areas of the country. He spent most of his life as an auto mechanic and taught his kids and grandkids his self-learned skill. He had a kind heart and always had a smile for everyone around. He was always willing to help anyone in need and made friends everywhere he went. People were always drawn to him like a magnet because of his grand smile. He talked to people as if he had known them for years. He loved music, loved going to fiestas, but most of all he loved dancing.

Alberto is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne and his children, Elena, Fred, Mario (Tracy), Carlos (Santana), Lisa, Christina (Daniel), and Michael (Missy). He is also survived by his seven brothers and sisters. Esperanza, Lorenzo, Consuelo, Rolando, Luis, Anjelica and Dora. As well as many nephews, nieces and other extended family.

He loved spending time with family but most of all his grandchildren, Jonathan, Elena, Veronica, Freddy, Sandra, Marcus, Matthew, Chris, Mario, Nikk, Adrian, Stephen, Felicia, Alyssa, DJ (Nuno), Arianna, Danielle, and Mateo. Great Grandchildren, Oliver, Stevie, and Luca-Manolo.

A Public viewing will be held on Thursday August 11th at Riverside Funeral Home, 3232 Cerrillos Road Santa Fe, New Mexico from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Funeral services to be held at St. Anthony’s Parish in Pecos, NM on Saturday, September 3rd. Rosary begins at 10 am, Mass at 11 am, and burial immediately after mass. Reception will be held at the American Legion in Pecos, NM after the burial.
