Obituary of Tillie S. Garcia

Tillie S. Garcia, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2022 with her children by her side. She was born in Manzano, New Mexico on May 26, 1937 to Santos Sr. and Carmelita Silva. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and father of her children, Senovio Garcia, her sister Mary Lopez, her brothers Albino (Jardo) Silva, Santos Silva Jr., Casimiro Silva, Cristobal Silva, Michael Silva, sisters-in-law Elma Silva, Nora Silva, and Regina Silva.

She is survived by her devoted partner of 40 years and the love of her life, Rudy Chavez, who so lovingly cared for her in the last years of her life. She is also survived by her children, Lucia Bracken, Vince Silva, Mona Samora (Pete), Paul Garcia (Paula), Manuel Garcia (Debbie), Angela Wilson (Mike). Her sisters Betsy Lopez and Stella Valdivia, her grandchildren, T.J. Griego, Pete Jr, Christopher, Stephanie and Jacob Samora, Jessica and Kasen Garcia, Kara Orlando, Melissa Gomez (Luis) and Carmen Garcia, Nicole Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Charles Gallagher, Natalie Gentry (Brandon), Pete and Jacquelyn Gallagher, fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was immensely devoted to, proud of, and a constant source of support to all her children and grandchildren.
