Obituary of Audry Duran

On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Audry B. Duran, beloved husband, father, and “Tata”, was called to his eternal home at age 78 after a long battle with cancer.

Audry was born on September 15, 1944, in Albuquerque, NM to Epitacio and Lucaria Duran. He was a member of SNMDMP #2, and a Vietnam Veteran. An avid car enthusiast, and cofounding member of New Mexico Rods and Classic Car Club. Audry loved to dance and never failed to make us laugh with his sense of humor.

Audry was preceded in death by his parents Epitacio & Lucaria, his brothers Felix & Orlando, sisters Edwina & Elsie and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is survived by his wife Mary, his son John Plakio daughter in law Andrea Plakio and son Robert Gallegos. His eight beloved grandchildren, Morgan, Andres, Alejandro, Isaiah, Rubie Anne, Desieree, Ben & Pablo and one great-grandchild Julian Jr.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Sanchez, Andres Sierra, Alejandro Sierra, Daniel Kaminski, Richard Candelaria, and JR Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers are Isaiah Sierra, Ben Chavez, Pablo Chavez, and Steve Maestas.
