Obituary of Nellie Madrid

Our beloved mother, Nellie Singh Madrid, departed this earth Wednesday December 7th, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born on September 3rd, 1932 in Dona Ana County, NM. Our mom was very nurturing not only to us but family friends or anyone who came to visit. She fed many migrants who would stop by our house in search of work, not one left without a brown bag lunch. She took the very best care of us when were sick and always had what we needed above her own need. Mom loved watching old movies, Wimbledon tennis, music and dancing. Our mom always loved us unconditionally and was the best mom any of us could ask for. She is survived by her children, Irma Candler, Albert Madrid (Wife Robin Madrid), Elsa Madrid. Grand children Daniel, Kyle, Gabriella, Megan and Keelin. Many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Madrid.

A Memorial service will be held at 10am, Thursday December 29th at Riverside Funeral home chapel located at 225 San Mateo NM, Albuquerque NM .
