Obituary of Livia Maria Casiano

Livia Casiano was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on August 23, 1919, to Basilio Castro and Maria Velez Castro. She died on January 20, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 103 years old.

In November 1938, she left Puerto Rico and went to Brooklyn, New York, where she and later, her husband, Castulo Casiano(deceased) lived. After he retired, they moved to Socorro, New Mexico in February 1982, and later, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1997.

She is survived by her son, Luis R. Casiano and step-daughter, Rosita Casiano Cruz and her husband, Cesar Cruz, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. 

She will be missed by family and friends and many who got to know her.
