Obituary of George W Crosby Jr.

We are very sad to announce the passing of George W. Crosby Jr.

George was 87 years young. He passed away on Saturday January 21st, 2023, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer.

George is survived by the love of his life Elena Silva Crosby, His son George III & Angela. George has two grandchildren he adored, Cassandra & Richard Crosby as well as Richards' fiancée Arely Jurado.

George was preceded in death by his parents George W. Crosby & Mildred Stagner Crosby. George was blessed to have grown up with eight beautiful sisters. Of his siblings, He is survived by Joyce & Ronnie Bond and Judy Lawson. He has numerous nieces & nephews he was very fond of. George was also survived by two sisters in law, both whom adored him, Maria Teresa Wild & Maria Raquel Silva.

George's sisters that preceded him in heaven were Millie, Frieda, Patsy, Georgie, Bobbi and Margie.

When George was a young man, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. In the early 60's George was an engineer for the Bendix company, working in Santiago Chile is where he met his best friend and forever bride Elena Silva. Back in the states, George worked for Mountain Bell & retired with ATT&T. He was also a proud member of The New Mexico Civil Air Patrol. Over the years he had many hobbies, including, but not limited to, real estate and restoring old and new cars. He also loved his daily 5am workouts and swims at Defined Fitness.

He was an amazing man; he is and will be truly missed by all.

Services to be held on Saturday February 11th at 10 A.M. at Riverside Funeral Home 225 San Mateo Blvd. Alb. 87108
