Obituary of Juan Paul Franco

Juan Franco was born on July 18 1981, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Alfonso, and Joann Franco. Juan passed away on February 9th 2023. He is survived by his wife Amanda Franco, son Juan Ryan Franco (JR), mother Joann Franco of Logan, N.M., father Alfonso Franco of Mexico, brothers Josh (Kat) Franco of Los Lunas, N.M., Adrian Franco of Albuquerque, N.M., and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Juan graduated highschool from Logan, N.M. in 2000. After highschool, he joined the United States Army. Juan was in basic training at Fort Benning. 1st duty station was Baumholder Germany, he served with the 1-6 Regiment, where he deployed to Iraq in 2003, he then went to Fort Hood, TX. After the military, he moved back to Logan, N.M. where he started dating Amanda. In 2006 they welcomed their only son Juan Ryan Franco (JR) into the world. They lived in Albuquerque, N.M. where he attended college at ITT Technical Institute, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in project management. They left Albuquerque, N.M. in 2009 and moved back to Logan, N.M. Juan then started working in the oil field in south Texas. In 2020 he decided to spend more time at home with his family.

Juan loved spending time outdoors with his friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, playing on the water, riding jet skis, and hunting. Juan loved his family and friends very dearly. He was loved by many, and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Celebration of life for Juan Franco will be Saturday February 25th at 10am at the First Baptist Church in Logan, N.M., after the service we will head to the cemetery, and then to the American Legion Bingo for lunch
