With deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and friend Rudy Garcia on March 1^st, 2023. He was an integral member of our family. Rudy was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was passionate about baking and spent many years perfecting his craft and he was best known for his Wedding Cakes. He was the life of the party whether he was singing, playing guitar or joking around with his friends and family. Rudy met his beloved Betty in 1986 and they have been inseparable since.

 

Rudy is survived by his partner Betty Moya, sister Maria Perea, step daughter Eleanor Ramirez and husband Joe, step son Brian Lopez and wife Cynthia, step son Chris Lopez and partner Jennie, granddaughter Raeanna Martinez and husband Julian, granddaughter Maria Tapia and husband Arthur, grandson Joseph Ramirez and wife Renee, granddaughter Klarissa Ramirez, granddaughter Brianna Sena and husband Rufilo, grandson Joeray Lopez, grandson Christopher Lopez, granddaughter Joann Lopez, 5 great granddaughters and 8 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

 

Rudy was predeceased by his parents Ciliaco and Tillie Garcia, son Scott Garcia, brothers Robert Garcia and Ciliaco Garcia Jr., and sisters Bernice Jaramillo and Moriama Griego.

 

Pallbearers will be Chris Lopez, Julian Martinez, Joseph Ramirez and Dominic Lovato.

 

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, March 20^th, 2023, at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town, followed by the funeral at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
