Obituary of Patricia Marie Robinson

Patricia Marie Robinson, 85, a resident of Datil, NM went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on December 29, 1937 to Vern and Geradine Whited; she was one of four children. Her family relocated to Santa Fe, NM where she met and married Billy Glynn Robinson, on October 15th, 1955. Being married 69 years is a true testament of their love and commitment to each other. Patricia loved the Lord and was an example of a Proverbs 31 wife and mother. Verse 28 “Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her”. She was also a devoted mother to her 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She had the most beautiful smile that was contagious. God used her to bring many to Christ through teaching Sunday school to children, leading women’s ministry and reaching out to the community by leading children’s church camp and providing meals to the poor. She also helped her husband start a church plant in Glenwood NM.

In 1961 the family relocated to California and started a Harley Davidson motorcycle business. She worked by her husband’s side building a successful business. In 1979 they relocated back home to New Mexico. When they retired, they purchased the Robinson Ranch in Datil NM.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Geraldine Whited, brother Joseph, brother Timothy, brother Thomas and has one living brother Michael. She is survived by her spouse, who she loved dearly, Billy Glynn Robinson; daughter, Janice McNally, husband Stephen McNally, their children, Rachel Pounds (deceased), Christopher McNally and April Bartok; daughter Debra Richards, husband David Richards (deceased) and their children David Richards Jr and Patricia Ells; son Robert Robinson, wife Peggy Robinson; son Billy Robinson; daughter Diana Rubida; husband Alan Rubida and their children Katelyn Rubida and Amanda Rubida; daughter Shelli Sutton; husband John Sutton and their children Alyce Kincanon and Matthew Sutton and 11 great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.
