Obituary of Elsie R. Garcia

Elsie R. Garcia, 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 31, 2023. 

Elsie was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Elsie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Zenon Sr.; Daughter, Christina; Son, Michael, and Great Granddaughter. Jazmyne.

Elsie traveled and lived in California, Texas, and New Mexico.

She loved her family and working for Signetics / Philps Semiconductor for many years.

Elsie lived for her family, loved to gather, and see everyone under one roof.

She enjoyed growing her tomatoes, chilis, and flowers. Elsie loved her view of the city lights from her kitchen window. Elsie loved her morning coffee while watching the hummingbirds.

Elsie is survived by her son, Zenon Jr & Jeanette Garcia; Daughter, Debbie & Gary O’Bryan; Daughter, Linda & Timothy Sanchez; Daughter, Alma Michelle & Jake Mirabal; 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, her sister Marcella Blair and her nieces and nephews.

Thank you to all the nurses that cared for our mom.

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 

at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Albuquerque, NM 87108. 

Elsie will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
