Obituary of Dana Dion LaMonda

Dana Dion LaMonda, age 50, died Sunday January 7,2024 after a brief illness.  Dana was born August 18, 1973 in Santa Fe, NM.  Dana is preceded in death by his mother Olivia Tapia-LaMonda, his father Willie LaMonda, his son Christopher James LaMonda, his wife Alicia Gonzales-LaMonda, and his father-in-law Rudy Gonzales.

Dana is survived by his sons Dana LaMonda Jr and Josiah LaMonda, Santiago and Mariah Gonzales, his aunt Cecilia Tapia who had a special bond with Dana throughout his life, a close friend Maria Baca, as well as many relatives and friends. 

Although Dana lived a difficult life, he was loved by many and had a good heart.  He loved his children and loved spending time with them.  He will always be remembered by his many talents, for his countless drawings that he would give to family, and as a good mechanic.  He will be especially remembered for his artistic talent.  Dana will never be forgotten and will be forever in our hearts.
