In Loving Memory of Victor Gonzales

January 1, 1944 - January 5, 2024

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Victor Gonzales.  He departed this world on January 5, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.  Born on New Year’s Day in 1944, Victor lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family. He touched the hearts of all who knew him and leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.

Victor is survived by his siblings: Carol Gonzales, Reynaldo Jr. Gonzales, Mary
Ann Ouellette, Harold Gonzales, Rafaelita (Faila) Alderete, Joe (Monie) Gonzales, Sandra Martinez, Monica Gonzales and Yvonne Gonzales. Together, they shared a bond that transcends time and will forever hold a special place in each of their hearts.

In addition to being a devoted brother, Victor was a cherished uncle who played a significant role in the lives of his nieces and nephews. Victor brought joy and laughter into our lives.  His infectious smile, playful spirit, and genuine care of others made him a source of inspiration to everyone around him.  Whether it was a comforting smile or a helping hand, he was always there when needed. 

Victor, has now left this world to be reunited with our parents, Reynaldo Gonzales and Clarita Gonzales. We find solace in knowing that he is at peace, surrounded by the love of family once more.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join in a celebration of Victor’s life at a memorial service on January 27, 2024. Services will begin at 10:00 am followed by a reception at Saint John XXIII Catholic Community, located at 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.  Together, we will honor the memory of a remarkable soul whose presence brightened our lives.

As we mourn the loss of Victor, let us remember the beautiful moments we shared, the laughter that echoed through the years, and the love that bound our family together.  Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear.  May he find eternal peace, and his memory continue to inspire us to live with the same love and kindness that defined his life.
