Obituary of Roger Friesell Geer Jr.

Roger Friesell Geer Jr, 72, unexpectedly passed away on January 16, 2024, at his home in Albuquerque, NM.

Roger was born in Johnstown, PA to Roger F (Sr.) and Mary Louise (Michael) Geer. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI after the family moved there. As a child, Roger Jr. was a clothing and catalog model. He attended Riverside High School and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, WI. He also received a degree from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee.

Roger worked for American TV 1989-1992; Waste Management Inc. as a Marketing Specialist 1992-1997; and Best Disposal, Milwaukee 2000-2004. Then he worked with Bath Fitter in 2005, until he retired in 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Aunt Deloris Michael and Uncle Joseph Michael.

Roger is survived by his brother, Mark, who is gravely ill; multiple cousins and other relatives.

According to his wishes, Roger was cremated, and no services will be held.

Interment will be at the Grand View Cemetery in Johnstown, PA, in the Geer family plot.
