Obituary of David F. Pedraza

11/26/57-2/6/24

David F. Pedraza, 66 years old, passed away after a battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Elva Pedraza. He is survived by his siblings Martha, Tony, Mickey, and niece Shane Pedraza. Mr and Mrs Glen Wilson and Mr and Mrs Frank Pedraza as surviving uncles and aunts respectively, and numerous cousins. 

David’s perspective on life was based on addressing adversities and how they could  be overcome. His philosophy was always influenced as seeing the glass half full as opposed to half empty. An unrelenting positive attitude carried David through good times and encouraged him to be strong through bad times.

Always happy and willing to help others, David’s outlook on life was: it’s not the destination of the journey, it’s the journey and experiences itself that was important to him.

Though the disease process weakened David’s body, his spiritual beliefs remained strong as he makes this next journey to eternal life. Your kind spirit and enduring optimism will be missed.

As memories are everlasting, so to will our love and admiration for you. Continue to soar with the angels David.

Rosary and mass will be February 28, 2024 at Queen of Heaven Church at 5310 Claremont Ave NE at 9:30 am followed by mass. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Funeral Services provided by Riverside Funeral Home.
