Obituary of Mark Joseph Geer

Mark Joseph Geer, 69, of Albuquerque, passed away Monday February 5, 2024, at the Genesis Nursing Home in Rio Rancho after a battle with Lung Cancer.

 Mark was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roger F (Sr.) and Mary Louise Geer. He attended Elementary School there and graduated from Riverside high School. Mark went to Milwaukee Area Technical College where he majored in Computer Sciences. Following College, he moved to Albuquerque with his parents where he became their care takers when they became ill and passed away. Mark later became his Aunt Delores’s caretaker until her death.

Mark was employed by Sunland Management and Tax Service in Albuquerque. Then by Western Refinery for about a year. He also worked for Tapestry Gallery until his retirement and illness. He also ran his own business of Star dot Star Productions as a PC Consultant and Programmer.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Roger and his uncles and Aunts.

He is survived by cousins Robert R and Robert L. Hersh Geer of WV, Meg Kobza of Colorado, Shirley Geer of Alabama, Kristene Alberts of PA, Laura Miller of PA, Chip Froetlich of PA, Audrey Masalehdan of PA, Louise Geer of PA, as well as numerous other cousins and relatives.
