Obituary of Paul M Perez

Paul M. Perez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, was born on February 15, 1972, and departed from this life on February 24, 2024. He was the eldest son of Pauline Perez and the late Jose T. Perez, and a guiding light to his family.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by his mother, Pauline Perez; his sons, Paul Perez Jr. and Mario Chavez; his grandson, Link Perez; his siblings, Anthony, Chris, Daniel, Cynthia Perez and Cory Odom (brother-in-law); and his partner, Kimberly Gonzales and her daughters Angelica and Monea and grandchildren Aurelia and Caylem (whom he raised as his own).

Paul was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in the beauty of the outdoors and the warmth of family gatherings. His affinity for memorable movie quotes will be fondly recalled by those who knew him.

A traditional service will be held to honor Paul's life at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, located at 9502 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM, on March 12, 2024. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00am, followed by the celebration of Mass at 9:00am. A reception will take place thereafter in the Church Hall, providing an opportunity for friends and family to gather and share memories of Paul.

Paul's memory will be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones. His presence will be missed, but the impact of his life will continue to resonate with all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
