Obituary of Josephine Marie Klein

Josephine Marie Sena/Klein called Jo or Josie passed away after a short battle with illness at the age of 81 in Albuquerque on March 15, 2024. She was born on January 5, 1943, to Joe and Lucy Sena.  She is survived by her beloved children Greg, James, and Monica, her eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Erik, Matthias, Felicia, Chase, Chloe, Emily, Nicolas and great granddaughter Cataleya, her brother Esteban Sena, daughters and son in-law Andrea, Nicole and Mike.

Jo was an excellent cook specializing in traditional New Mexican cuisine and she touched the hearts of many with her baking.  She also shared her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love and dedicated herself to a career in nursing, where her compassion and dedication made an impact on those she cared for. She left behind a legacy of healing and comfort.

A graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School, and crowned Homecoming Queen in 1961 was a testament to her grace and beauty and she was a devoted member of the Legacy Church of Albuquerque Grandparents Ministry. She found solace and strength in her relationship with God and lived her life as a reflection of His love and grace.

Services to honor Jo's life will be held at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, on April 22, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Flowers sent in remembrance of Jo should arrive by 9:00 am on the day of the service.

Though we mourn the loss of Jo, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of Jesus Christ, where she will know eternal peace and joy and her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
