My deepest condolences to the Pease family. Linda was such a strong matriarch and vivacious person that I am still surprised to hear of her passing. So many memories with her children who I have known for years originally from my brother, and her grandchildren who grew up with my daughter since the time they were infants. Deepest admiration for Linda and sadness for such a loss. Love and blessings to the lovely, brilliant, and kind children that she raised and her amazing husband, Ron. What a team. I always admired the zest for life and the constant travels.
Loves and hugs,
Nancy Padilla

My wife Linda & I have been friends with Ron & Linda Pease since 1969, when Ron and I were temporarily assigned to a military project at White Sands Missile Range.
Since that time we have worked together, socialized together, and raised our families together for the next 50+ years.
We cris-crossed the country with our careers, living within a few blocks of each other in El Paso, TX, Ellettsville, IN and Albuquerque, NM.
We have worked together on many household projects. Once when we all lived on Cibola Village in Albuquerque, Linda P. decided that she wanted to wallpaper a couple of walls in her kitchen. She had heard me talk about watching my mother and grandmother wallpaper, so I was elected to assist! Linda P. and I were the wallpaper hangers and Ron and Linda H. were the “support” crew. We had a good time and kitchen turned out well!
From that small group of displaced Hoosiers in 1969 to the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren today, our lives have been intertwined. We will miss our friend.

Marty and I have known Linda for longer than we have been married. We first met Linda when I went to Indiana University to play basketball in 1963. Ron was a member of the Hoosier team and we became friends and when Marty would visit me in Bloomington,we would get together with Ron and Linda.
We continued to spend a lot of time with Ron and Linda after Marty and I got married and I continued on to graduation. Marty and I started out in Kansas and Ron and Linda were in Washington, but one summer they came to visit us and that became a yearly tradition as we visited back and forth on a regular basis.
Our kids all kind of grew up together as we would get together and do things as a large combined family.
Linda was always a very ambitious person and went after everything she tried with gusto and was at the top of group with whatever she was doing at the time. She had the drive and determination to go from a real estate salesman to founding her own company.
On Ron and Linda's 25th wedding anniversary, she asked if we would like to go to Hawaii with them and we did. That was in 1988 and we continued to go to Hawaii and share time and adventures every year since then. We stayed in timeshare condos and many times would travel to several different islands but as we got older and settled into a routine a bit less hectic, Linda came up with a plan to have cooking teams in the condo. Linda was my cooking partner and Ron and Marty were the other cooking team and we alternated the work.
Linda really enjoyed the islands and many hours were spent sitting on the beach and watching the waves and the whales. Linda had a special place which became know as "Linda's Happy Place".
We will all miss her wit and comments on a wide variety of subjects. Our granddaughter said it best when she commented "Mrs. Pease will be missed. She was a legend"
